Bulldogs drop two, Bombers win two, Totem 69 concludes

The Bulldogs lost back to back games over the weekend in Prince George.

They dropped a 4-3 overtime decision on Friday night. Lenny Greenberg, Caden Tremblay and Cole Bishop scored.

They fell 7-4 on Saturday night. Jacob Terpstra led the way with a hat trick, while Kenyon McIsaac also scored

The Bulldogs are idle until January 24 when they visit Surrey, as the BCHL All Star game goes this weekend in Salmon Arm.

The Port Alberni Bombers won back to back games over the weekend. They defeated the Saanich Predators 4-2 at home on Saturday night. Sean Richards, Grayson Salmon Owen Ditzel and Nathan Hayes scored. They were 4-1 winners yesterday over the Oceanside Generals. Owen Ditzel, Jack Barrett Sean Richards and Kai Verbrugge were the scorers.

Totem 69 wrapped up on Saturday night at ADSS. Edward Milne were the Boys champions with Stellys finishing second, while the ADSS Boys finished fourth. On the Girls side, Pacific Christian School were the champions, defeating ADSS in the final.

Port Alberni Native Chase Nicklin picked up another podium finish this season competing for the Nexgen National Para Snowboard team as he finished third at the Landgraaf Europa Cup in the Netherlands. He began the season with a first place finish in Dubai last month.
