The Bulldogs went 0 and 2 on home ice over the weekend. They fell 5-1 to the Nanaimo Clippers on Friday night – Kenyon McIsaac had the lone goal – they then dropped a 6-3 decision to the Victoria Grizzlies on Saturday night. Brenden Espenell, Zeke Nicholson and Brady McIsaac – on a penalty shot – had the goals.
The Bulldogs are on the road to Prince George for a double-header against the Spruce Kings this Friday and Saturday.
The Port Alberni Bombers lost 9-3 on the road to the Kerry Park Islanders on Saturday night. Leim Smith scored twice and Zach Spafford also scored. They host the Saanich Predators at the Multiplex on Saturday night.
The ADSS Storm Basketball teams are preparing for Totem 69 Thursday through Saturday.
The Totem Tournament is the longest-running high school tournament in Western Canada.

Port Alberni Native Chase Nicklin picked up another podium finish this season competing for the Nexgen National Para Snowboard team as he finished third at the Landgraaf Europa Cup in the Netherlands. He began the season with a first place finish in Dubai last month.
