The Bulldogs won back to back games over the weekend to run their winning streak to three.
They rallied from a two goal deficit to beat the Express in Coquitlam 4-3 in overtime on Friday night. Massimiliano Monson scored twice including the winner, while Zeke Nicholson and Jacob Wingfield also scored.
On Saturday night, they rallied from a two goal deficit again, to again win 4-3 in overtime over the Rivermen in Langley.
Jacob Terpstra, Grayson Badger, Lenny Greenberg and Caden Tremblay – who scored the winner, had the goals.
Colin Winn was victorious both nights in net.
The Bulldogs host the West Kelowna Warriors tonight.
The Port Alberni Bombers went 1-0 and 1 at the Multiplex over the weekend.
They lost 2-1 in overtime Friday night to the Kerry Park Islanders. Kai Verbrugge had the lone goal.
They beat Victoria 3-2 in overtime Saturday night. Leim Smith had the winner, while Sean Richards and Kai Verbrugge also scored.
They next see action Saturday when they host Lake Cowichan.
The Port Alberni Black Sheep Rugby Club won a second straight game Saturday at home, 27-18 over the Cowichan Piggies.
Port Alberni Native Chase Nicklin topped the podium on Day 1 of Dubai’s Asia Cup last week. Competing as part of Canada’s Para Snoboard Team he finished in first place in the Bank Slalom event.
