BC Wildfire crews are currently working on a forest fire between Bamfield and Nitinaht Lake near the Klanawa River
The 12-hectare fire is currently considered out of control and is being battled by 21 firefighters and three helicopters.
The Cameron Bluff fire is now listed as “under control” with just one firefighter patrolling the ground and one helicopter searching for possible hotspots from the air.
Meanwhile, wildfire smoke from the Prince George fire centre has moved down to the southern half of the province.
Air Quality Meteorologist Nick Davey says, a low pressure system helped usher a northerly wind to move the plume.
Davey says most of the smoke will remain aloft and just below advisory levels.
